Greenbelt Riding School

Horseback riding is a unique experience enjoyed by both children and adults alike. Nothing can quite match the bonding which occurs between horse and rider, or the thrill of riding such a majestic animal.
At the Greenbelt Riding School, we strive to teach the skills that are required to enjoy horseback riding with safety and confidence. Established in 1958, the Greenbelt Riding School is operated by the Kahrer family. We are conveniently located on 60 acres of land on Albion Road, just a few minutes west of Bank Street in Ottawa.... (read more) The school maintains more than 20 horses and 15 ponies, all of which are well trained and safe for both beginners and advanced riders. Since 1958, we have prided ourselves on developing and encouraging the horse-human relationship. Yes, we teach people to ride, but more importantly we aspire to fulfill the spark that ignites when a new rider walks through our gates.
