Famous Horses
Horses can become famous or known for different reasons. A lot of times horses become famous for something they did or accomplished in their life. Secretariat became a famous Thoroughbred for winning horse racing's Triple Crown and we do feature many horses related to Secretariat for sale. Horses can also become famous because they've been bred or had a significant amount of progeny that have done big things. In Quarter Horses, some well known sires include Doc Bar, Two Eyed Jack, Peppy San Badger, Blue Valentine and Poco Bueno.
Commercials and popular culture can also sometimes make certain types of horses famous. The Budweiser Clydesdales are well known examples of horses that are famous for commercials public appearances. While they usually aren't for sale, you can find many Clydesdale horses that are similar to the Budweiser horses on our site.
